What Goalside is
Goalside provides football coaching session plans for children aged 5 to 11, with diagrams, kit lists and coaching points. Block 1 of every age group is free. The other sessions are part of Goalside Plus, a subscription.
The sessions are guidance, not supervision
Every session is a draft written to help volunteer coaches plan. You are responsible for running sessions safely: check the pitch, equipment and weather, follow your club’s and your county FA’s safeguarding rules, hold the right qualifications and first-aid cover, and change or stop anything that is not right for your children on the day. Nothing on Goalside is medical, safeguarding or legal advice. Please read the notes on safety.
Your account
You need an account to open Goalside Plus sessions. Keep your password to yourself: one subscription is for one coach and may not be shared. One account may be used on up to three of your own browsers or devices at a time. We may limit how many different paid sessions one account can open in a day or a week. Each paid page shows the email address of the account it was opened with and a reference code, so a copy that is shared can be traced. We may suspend or close accounts that copy or share content or logins in breach of these terms.
Goalside Plus subscription
- Price. £7.99 a month, charged to your card by our payment provider, Stripe, every month until you cancel. The price you see when you subscribe is the price you pay. If we ever change it, we will tell you at least 30 days before your next payment and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Renewal and cancelling. Your subscription renews automatically each month. You can cancel at any time from your account page (“Manage billing”). You keep Goalside Plus until the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not charge you again.
- Your 14-day right to cancel. Normally you have 14 days to cancel a distance contract. Goalside Plus gives you access straight away, so when you subscribe we ask you to agree that it starts immediately and that you lose the 14-day right to cancel once you have started using it.
- Refunds. Apart from the above, we do not give refunds for time already used, but tell us if something has gone wrong and we will put it right where we reasonably can. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may pause your access until it is paid.
What you may do with the content
You may use the sessions and diagrams to run sessions with your own teams, including saving or printing them for that purpose. You may not copy, republish, sell, share your login, or put the content into another product or service without our written permission. The content, diagrams and the Goalside name and logo belong to us.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Goalside available but cannot promise it will always work without interruption. We may improve, correct or change sessions, and we may change these terms; if a change matters to you we will tell you before it applies.
Our responsibility
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach, or for any business loss. Because sessions are run by you, in your setting, we are not responsible for injuries or losses that happen during sessions you run, except where the law makes us responsible.
Disputes and the law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will deal with any dispute, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may use your local courts.
